From the meticulous selection of plants by our suppliers, to their expert processing in our workshops, to their packaging and distribution on the national and export markets, we do everything in our power to guarantee traceability, quality and respect for herbal traditions.
Purchasing & Sourcing
Our purchasing department plays an essential role in the quality of our products. It consults our plant growers in order to purchase or reserve new crops according to our regular needs or specific customer requests (sourcing). The careful selection of our growers and the plants they offer is the first pillar of our product quality. We strive to develop lasting relationships with our growers, wherever they may be, because we firmly believe that mutual respect and trust are essential elements in any business relationship. Plants are selected on a sample basis, by assessing their color, smell, texture and cleanliness. In addition, we compile an analytical file for each plant, including the information and analyses provided by our growers, to guarantee optimum traceability and quality.
Reception
Receiving plants is a crucial stage in our business, where we carry out a meticulous check on the identity and quality of each batch. At this stage, a macroscopic visual check is carried out, focusing in particular on the presence of foreign bodies, the general condition of the plant and its distinctive odour. The aim is to ensure that the lot received conforms to the purchase sample. In addition, we ensure compliance with bacteriological standards and appropriate certifications where applicable. All these checks are carefully recorded on a dedicated "incoming inspection" sheet, guaranteeing the traceability and quality of our products from the moment they arrive at our premises, and in line with our ISO22000 certification. Once the plant has been checked, it is stored on a rack in our warehouse in a designated area before being processed.
Processing and Packaging
Once the plants have been validated by the quality department, our processing and packaging team goes into action. All plants arrive raw, with as little processing as possible, to guarantee the variety of the plant and avoid adulteration. We only ask our growers to dry the plants according to our specifications, so as to preserve their intrinsic quality as much as possible. In our workshops, plants are processed according to the specific needs of our customers. Whether for cutting, powdering, creating customized blends, bagging, capsule filling or infusion production, we take care to meet the strictest standards of hygiene and quality. Each stage of the process is carefully monitored to ensure that the beneficial properties of the plants are preserved and that the finished products are safe.
Distribution and Export :
Once packaged, our products are ready for distribution on the French domestic and export markets. Our plants are available to all types of customers throughout France, whether retailers, herbalists, pharmacies or specialized industries. What's more, we export our products to many countries, offering our high-quality medicinal and aromatic plants to an international clientele. Our AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) customs certification also enables us to support our customers in their import procedures. Our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction guides everything we do, from plant selection to delivery.
